A new ethylbenzene (EB)/styrene monomer (SM) project will be soon launched in the territory of China.
Jiujiang Petrochemical, a local company, will operate the new plant. It will pay around CNY 663 (USD 105) million for it.
The firm plans to initiate construction works in the second half of the year. Jiangxi was chosen to house the unit.
The new facility will be brought on line by 2014. It will produce 0.08 million tonnes per annum.
